In 1974, the first Italian hypermarket in Montebello della Battaglia, Pavia, opened its doors thanks to the idea of Marco Brunelli, founder of the company.
Iper came to life to make quality accessible to everybody. We leverage all things Italian, value-for-money, and customer satisfaction.
OUR MISSION
Our founder's dream, making quality accessible to everybody, is one of the tenets of our mission. Over the past 50 years, we developed it and implemented it thanks to other dreams shared by the group: becoming a solid reference point for the community living around our stores, not only for quality and value-for-money, but also for services provided to the community, environment safeguarding, and best practices in using resources.
The Group deeply cares about natural resources. It's growing towards an ever more sustainable approach; it keeps cultural heritage close to its heart and has always given great importance to it with projects and partnerships aimed at protecting it. Especially, it cares about human resources.
People are the centre of it all. Not just customers but also partners, who are supported with training and welfare programmes.
